Marked STERLING MEXICO on a plaque. This (pre-American) antique, hand cast and hand chased pin is a copy of an English early Victorian mourning brooch. The urn, filled with turquoise mounted flowers, is riveted through the translucent agate window. Two separately worked birds, appearing seamlessly applied, perch on the urn. Marvelously detailed work in the classic Mexican silver tradition. Excellent condition. $250.00
